Our desires often cause us problems, yet our desires also offer much promise. The nature of our soul is to have unlimited desires, and our desires often work against the life of the Spirit in us. Yet, God is the ultimate source of our desires, and our soul’s infinite capacity to desire is the mirror image of God’s infinite capacity to give.
Our desires direct our life far more than our will, as our will has very limited power. Learning to will God’s way begins with learning to attend to God’s presence. Christian spirituality is not about the crucifixion of desires but rather about the realignment of our desires by turning our hearts to the Source of all desires. We will explore the transformation of our will by examining why our desires are “disordered” and how our human wills can be brought into alignment with God’s intentions so that we willingly choose that which God wants for us.
This retreat is the tenth in a series of one-day retreats to help us deepen our intimacy with God. Pastor Sid will lead the retreat, and it will take place at John and Janet Moore’s home.

The Stations of the Cross experience is a way for us to have a physical representation of the journey that Jesus took in His final hours. It is a time to reflect with reverence and meditate on Christ's sacrifice for us. It is divided into eight stations from the time He was condemned to His crucifixion. Every station will provide you with something tangible to interact with on your journey.
You are invited to see, to touch, and to think. Our great hope is this will be an interactive experience that will cultivate a deeper sense of appreciation for what Jesus endured for those He loves.
We will have two options to attend, between 12pm and 2pm, as well as 6pm and 8pm. Come at any point during those time frames to walk the stations.

To help us prepare for Easter this year, we will be offering a devotional guide Through John’s Eyes.
This guide will help us to accompany Jesus in his suffering during Holy Week by following his disciple, John. In ten short devotionals, we will trace the arc of John’s life from a zealous, proud disciple to the writer of his epistles that relentlessly focus on God’s love. This “Unhurried Life” class will introduce the guide, suggest how best to use it, and then engage in the first two devotionals.

WE ALL NEED A WAY THROUGH.
A way through the heartache. A way through the confusion. A way through the anxiety. A way through the darkness. A way through the wreckage of our past actions. Easter is the great, history-changing declaration that the ultimate way through is not just a vain wish, but a present reality.
Jesus lived and died, rising again to be our way through death and the way of true life. Easter tells the story of a good God who opens graves and brings the joy of a new life. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of King Jesus and see how the story of Easter is the exodus out of death.
Come early or stay late for a free pancake breakfast that will be served from 8:30-11:30 AM.
Children's programs will be provided for 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM services (0-5 years old).

Our theme for this years weekend is “Purpose",” and we’ll be asking one big question: What is God’s purpose for me?
Also, there’s laser tag. In the woods. Jake and Kevin will win.

We are so excited to come together for our third gathering at The Well. If you have joined us before, we can't wait to see you again. If this is your first time joining us, we are so glad you will be there.
We invite all women to come together for a night of worship, fellowship, and teaching. We encourage you to gather a group of friends, invite a coworker or neighbor, and make a fun night of it. We are creating space for God to move, to grow closer to Jesus, and to be in community together. Heather Avis will be joining us as our guest speaker.
Heather Avis is wife to Josh, mother to the adorable Macyn, Truly and August, and Author of "The Lucky Few". After working as an Education Specialist she found herself as a full-time stay at home mom when she and her husband adopted their first daughter, Macyn, in 2008. Shortly thereafter, in 2011, they adopted their second daughter, Truly. And in 2013, their son August was born and came home to be theirs. Heather currently resides in Southern California where between oatmeal making, diaper changing and dance parties, she shares her heart by putting words on paper and using her hit Instagram account @macymakesmyday, to share the awesomeness of all things Down syndrome and adoption. She cares fiercely for the underdog and believes God's goodness and beauty are found in the most seemingly uncomfortable places. We can't wait for her to join us!
Light refreshments will be provided for you to enjoy. See you at The Well.

We long to be loved but we often struggle to experience the reality that God delights in us. In this month’s class we will explore the crucial role that solitude plays in helping us to experience intimacy with God, and then spend time reflecting on our response to God’s delight. We will also introduce the related practice of creating margin, because a lack of margin in our lives hinders our ability to experience God’s delight.
