Refuge Square-01.jpg

REFUGE is a middle school community that seeks to be a place of refuge that embodies the ultimate refuge found in Jesus.  We believe that the good news of Jesus is that he overcomes the barriers we create, enters into our situation, and invites us to be with him and to participate in what God is doing in the world.  We also believe that young disciples of Jesus are fully legitimate disciples of Jesus, and that’s how we treat our students! Refuge is fun, welcoming, and admittedly a little crazy, and we welcome every middle school student to check us out!

Weekly Programs

9:00AM - 10:15AM

Sunday mornings are all about exploring Scripture in a way that is engaging, fun, and interesting.  We believe that God actively and relevantly speaks through the Bible and it’s exciting to be able to explore it.  Our typical Sunday program includes worship, an engaging teaching from the Bible, and post-message discussion groups led by our very own high school leadership students.

7:00PM - 8:30PM

Tuesday nights are just the best.  They’re crazy fun, they have a really welcoming atmosphere, and are the perfect place to come and see what Refuge is all about.  The night starts with an awesome game (such as Human Hungry Hungry Hippos, Life-Sized Clue, Christmas Carol Rap Battles) and then students break off into small groups led by our committed and compassionate adult leaders.  Every week we discuss a specific question that has been asked by one of our actual students! The night closes with worship and snack. All are welcome.

(starting October) 4:30PM-5:30PM

Students who are especially interested in exploring the Bible can join Wired.  Wired is designed to foster a genuine love for reading the Bible by empowering students with some helpful skills to engage with it.  We enthusiastically believe that the Bible is interesting, exciting, and alive, and learning how to read it is a crucial (and even fun) part of following Jesus.  Last year we went through the first five books of the Old Testament, and this year we are going through the rest of the Old Testament. Students are welcome to join even if they did not attend last year!

Anchored Main Square-01.jpg

ANCHORED is a gathering of high school students who come together for a time of worship and community. Our mission is to come alongside parents and the local church to make gospel-centered disciples for the glory of God that boldly follow Jesus. Our prayer is that through both relationships with leaders and various programs, our students will develop a deepening relationship with Christ and be equipped to be the next generation of Christian leaders in adulthood.

7:00PM – 9:00PM

Wednesdays are nights where everyone is welcome to come & see what this “God thing” is all about. Each Wednesday night we have announcements, games, snacks & connecting time. Then we head off to our small group where we tackle a topic that’s relevant to high school students. The small groups are designed to give the students the opportunity to investigate their faith, ask questions, discuss relevant issues with an adult leader & peers, and pray for one another. We finish the night with worship. Wednesday Nights are a great place to help you and/or your friends begin a relationship with God.
