Jesus wants us to listen in. He could have prayed this prayer while alone, yet He chose to pray it in the presence of His apprentices. Why? In John chapter 17, often called The High Priestly Prayer, Jesus prays for us in two senses. First, He intercedes on our behalf, praying for those with Him in that moment and for those who will become His apprentices in the future (that's us). He also prays for us in the sense that He wants us to listen in and hear how He talks with His Father. Jesus not only prays for us but He teaches us how to pray like him!

Join us for this series, as we continue to learn how to cultivate a life of unceasing prayer.
