Supported Missions

After His resurrection, Jesus commanded His followers to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). That is why ten percent of all giving to Valley Community church goes to supporting ministries and missionaries working both locally and globally to help make, mature, and mobilize more apprentices of Jesus and grow God’s family.

In the very heart of Pleasanton, with a heart for the city, is a vintage, pub-style, third-wave coffee house named after the famed literary discussion group associated with the University of Oxford—The Inklings. With warm conversation and a welcoming environment, Inklings seeks to embody the gospel in its hospitality, charity, and dedication to excellence in serving and seeking the welfare of our community.

Connected to Inklings, The Common Room is a a mid-size venue alive with the humming sounds of concerts, art galleries, debate forums, classes, seminars, and more. The Common Room will exist to serve as a meeting place, a hub for church cooperation, community participation, and gospel-centered leadership development.

Inklings Coffee & Tea and The Common Room are now open at 530 Main Street in Pleasanton!
